Springfield High School Class Of ’97 Sets 20th Reunion
The Springfield High School Class of 1997 is hosting its 20th reunion on Saturday, August 26 at the Mud Hens game in downtown Toledo.
The event, which includes food and the game, starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50.00 each. Payments can be made online by logging into Facebook and searching for “SHS 1997 Class Reunion (20 years)” or by calling/texting Brandi Barhite at (419) 205-7199.

AWHS Class Of ’57 To Host 60th Reunion
The A.W.H.S. class of ‘57 will return home for a 60th anniversary celebration of their May 28, 1957 graduation on Thursday and Friday, October 5-6. In addition to class members who presently live in the area, other members from the East and West coasts, Arizona, Montana, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas are expected to attend.
All 135 members of the Class of ‘57 have always been especially proud to be the first class to complete all four years in the then new Anthony Wayne High School that opened in the spring of 1953.
The class is also honored to have (11) of its members elected into the Anthony Wayne Alumni Hall of Fame.
The celebration begins with a class member, spouse and guest dinner held at the Whitehouse Inn, on Thursday, October 5 at 5:30 p.m. followed by an “All School” picnic at Oak Openings State Park on Friday October 6 starting at 12:30 p.m. All AW classmates are invited to the Oak Openings picnic on Friday. All Anthony Wayne graduates, classmates, teachers, faculty and their families are invited and welcome to attend to share memories and renew old friendships.
A Memorial Service for the 36 class members no longer living will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. and family members of those classmates are especially invited.
Thursday dinner charges will be handled with individual checks at the restaurant. Picnic expense is $8.00 per adult, cash on arrival; children 12 and under are free. Reservations for both events are required. Contact Walt Franklin at wfranklin222@aol.com or (480) 861-8877 for arrangements.

Maumee Class Of 1966 Announces Monthly Meetings
The Maumee High School Class of 1966 gathers on the third Wednesday of each month at Jed’s in Maumee, 1566 S. Reynolds Rd., at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, members of the MHS Classes of 1965 and 1967 are invited to attend the monthly gatherings.

Nativity School Class Of 1958 Meets Monthly
The 1958 graduating class of Nativity Grade School in Toledo meets monthly to share memories at various restaurants in the area. Those interested in joining the group may contact Sandy (Fineske) Toeppe at (567) 277-5643.

Libbey High School Lunch Bunch Plans Meetings
The Libbey High School Lunch Bunch is returning to its South Toledo neighborhood. Meetings will be held at the Believe Center inside the Aurora Gonzalez Community Center, 1 Aurora Gonzalez Dr., Toledo. Libbey alumni and former students will meet, have fellowship with other loyal Libbey Cowboys, make new friends and enjoy a meal and program each month.
Meetings take place on the fourth Thursday each month from January through October; in November and December meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month due to the holidays. The cost is $10.00. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. for fellowship/meet and greet with lunch served at noon. The group features a program each month: social agencies, school show choirs, city of Toledo or Lucas County officials, area attractions, etc. Reservations are required for lunch and are due by noon on the Monday before the meeting.
